The Match

It was a fiercely contested encounter from start to finish, with both sides putting in big tackles, fast breaks, and no shortage of skill. The Bibs came out sharper and quicker in attack, taking the initiative early on.

The opening goal came swiftly — Ayobami collected the ball from a quick kick-in, skipped past two Non Bibs defenders, and calmly slotted the ball into the net. Moments later, Roman doubled the lead in style. From a kick-in deep in the Non Bibs’ half, he found space, drove forward unchallenged, and rifled a powerful effort into the side netting.

The Non Bibs, however, weren’t about to roll over. Awarded a free kick, Zaki smartly teed up Tommy Ray, who unleashed a fierce strike from just outside the box to make it 2–1. Zaki himself later found the net, briefly giving his side hope.

But Ayobami proved unstoppable. His strength on the ball, sharp first touch, and relentless pressing saw him bag two more goals to complete a well-earned hat trick, sealing the win for the Bibs.

Stand-Out Performances

  • Roman: Dazzling dribble and finish for his goal; creative influence throughout.

  • Ayobami: Tough tackling, strong hold-up play, and a clinical hat trick.

  • Charlie: Rock-solid in defence, using his strength to press and disrupt attacks.

  • Mia Faith: Showed flair with drag backs, stepovers, and confident wing play.
