What a fantastic week here at Lewis’s Football Fun! We know we say it every week, but this one really was special. Despite the challenging weather, we managed to keep every single session running — something we’re incredibly proud of.

Friday Night at Bishop

Our groups worked brilliantly with Coach Nathan and Coach Hilly, showing great effort, focus and commitment throughout the evening.

Saturday Sessions at Devon Park

Coach Jordan absolutely smashed the Saturday group. Even with a slight change of pitches, everything ran exactly how we wanted it to. It was great to see so many happy faces enjoying their football and working hard.

Sunday Morning in Farndon

A brilliant session bringing the Girls and the Avengers groups together, working through similar drills — passing, moving, high tempo work, technical dribbling and races. So much technical development on show and fantastic to see both groups training side by side.

Monday Night Football at YMCA & Active4Today

All eight of our usual groups were in action and we absolutely smashed it. Coach Lewis personally worked with the Tots and the Ravens, delivering UEFA licence drills that really pushed the players. Quick movements, combination play, possession-based games and penetrating the lines were all on display. The feedback from parents was fantastic — and that’s exactly why we coach.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support.

🚨 Next Week: RACE WEEK 🚨

Welcome to Race Week! We’ll be testing players to see who is the ultimate speedster in each group.

Everyone gets the chance to take part

A great opportunity to show acceleration and speed, even if technical ability isn’t your strength

Heats followed by finals, with 50% progressing

1st, 2nd and 3rd places rewarded and recognised on social media

Video opportunities throughout the week

Coach Lewis is looking forward to getting around as many groups as possible and watching some intense racing.

Stars of the Week

You can now see in our newsletter why players have been chosen by our coaches. The work off the pitch is just as important as on it, and we love recognising effort, attitude and improvement.

1-to-1 Coaching Update

Coach Jordan is now delivering one-to-one sessions alongside Coach Tom, Coach Lewis and Coach Nathan.

Nathan & Jordan specialising in goalkeeping

Lewis & Tom focusing on outfield development

With summer approaching and the weather improving, more slots will be available — so act fast if you’re interested.
