Weekly Recap – Lewis’s Football Fun

What a fantastic week at Lewis’s Football Fun! I thoroughly enjoyed every session I took part in, with high energy, great attitudes, and brilliant numbers across the board. Most groups had between 18–20 players, which is a really positive sign for the programme.

Monday

Foxes Group – I joined for half of the session and loved the atmosphere.

Ravens Group – Outstanding session with top-quality attitudes, brilliant technical drills, and noticeable off-the-ball improvement. These two sessions really reminded me why I love coaching!

⭐ Special mention: Huge shout-out to Leo D. He can sometimes get distracted, but this week he was completely focused, picking up Star of the Week on both Sunday and Monday. Well done, mate!

Tuesday – Girls Training

Our girls’ sessions at Newark Town were as competitive as ever, with excellent effort all round. We’re excited about expanding our U11s Newark Town team, and the new setup is already showing great promise.

Thanks to Coach Nathan, Coach Jordan, Coach Tom, and Coach Lewis, who worked hard with 1-to-1s to help children develop even quicker.

Across the Week

Numbers and engagement were superb in every session.

Fantastic progress seen across Cubs, Girls, and all other age groups.

Great to see players growing in confidence, skill, and teamwork.

Looking Ahead

Tournament week is coming up next week – please keep an eye out for all communication.

Group amendments are imminent, as mentioned before.

Match reports are live for our Newark Town teams – congrats to the U8s and U9s, who both picked up wins this weekend!
