LFF Weekly Recap
Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, LFF has exceeded expectations once again! It’s been a fantastic week across the club: 4 out of 6 of our Newark Town teams secured victories this weekend, accompanied by some excellent write-ups on the Newark Town FC website. Congratulations to Coach Lewis and his sponsors on their win in the Dragon Boat Race – what an achievement!
Our weekend sessions on Saturday and Sunday were brilliant, and Monday evening’s tournaments went ahead despite the rain. The kids showed incredible spirit, enjoying themselves, competing fiercely, and even shedding a few tears – experiences that will help shape them for the future.
Coach Nathan and Coach Tom continue to deliver outstanding 1-2-1 sessions, helping each child improve and grow in confidence.
Exciting news – LFF has secured a new venue at Bishop Alexander Academy! We’ll soon be offering more sessions and additional days for all children. Stay tuned for further updates.
Coach Lewis will also be back soon with more 1-2-1 sessions, with information coming shortly.
A huge thank you to all our parents for your unwavering support through all weathers. Your dedication to your children and to LFF is truly appreciated.

🏆 We Are The Champions! 🏆
Last Sunday, Coach Lewis took part in the Dragon Boat Race with Mondrelog, who made the whole day possible. Out of 29 entries and 3 heats, our team clocked the fastest times and became favourites early on. After a nail-biting photo finish in Heat 3, we stormed the semi-final and final with two solid wins to take the title.

A massive thank you to everyone who braved the weather to cheer us on, and to Mondrelog for making this event happen — plus their brilliant gesture of donating an extra £1000 to charity. 🙌
