An away game for the Titans started evenly, with the first exchanges looking 50/50 and plenty of action at both ends of the pitch. Ezra and Luca tracked back well to support Harry in defence, keeping the team solid early on.
Unfortunately, Bingham managed to break through with a goal. Despite this setback, the Titans pushed forward: Ezra made a strong run down the line, delivering the ball to a powerful Luca, while Nile kept possession and attempted a shot that was well denied by a determined Bingham defence.
The second quarter saw continued positive play from the Titans. Ezra attempted a goal, but it was saved, and William remained strong in goal when Bingham’s attack got past Max. Ezra kept up his impressive runs, though one shot went just over the crossbar. Despite the team’s persistence, the Titans struggled to find the back of the net throughout the quarter.
The third quarter began with the Titans pressing forward strongly, but Bingham capitalized on counter-attacks, scoring twice more. Their determination proved tough to overcome, and although Josh, Max, and Nile worked tirelessly to drive the Titans forward, the goals didn’t come.
In the fourth and final quarter, the Titans stayed positive and battled hard. Ezra and Josh combined well, showing excellent communication and teamwork up the pitch. The game ended on a slightly positive note when the Titans won a penalty. Max bravely stepped up and scored, giving the team a well-earned goal.
It wasn’t our day, but the boys played with immense pride, resilience, and determination. Their effort and spirit were commendable—well done, boys!
