The Titans travelled the short distance to Lowdham for another competitive Saturday on the pitch.

First Quarter:

Both teams started strongly, with the game evenly balanced. Harry’s crucial tackle at the back sparked a counter-attack, leading to a powerful opening goal from Ezra. Showing his pace and strength down the wing, Ezra quickly doubled Newark’s lead. Later, a brilliant pass from Ezra found Hugo, whose curving shot narrowly missed the target. Ezra continued to press, disrupting Lowdham’s attacks, and despite Nile’s attempt being unlucky, Ezra’s long-range strike completed his hat trick, putting Newark firmly in control.

Second Quarter:

Lowdham responded with a high press, but Max remained solid in defence. Josh made a strong run up the pitch, though his effort was intercepted, and Luca made key defensive interventions. William demonstrated brilliant reactions in goal, saving a powerful Lowdham shot that went over the crossbar. A penalty for Newark was brilliantly saved by William, but Lowdham capitalized on the rebound to score.

Third Quarter:

Newark resumed with energy and enthusiasm. Lowdham pressed hard, challenging Neo, Max, and Luca, who made excellent recovery runs. Ezra’s determination created a chance for Nile, but he couldn’t find the net. Nile soon redeemed himself with a chasing run and a precise pass to Neo, who successfully beat the keeper. Despite Nile’s continued attacking efforts, another goal eluded him.

Fourth Quarter:

The final quarter saw Nile and Max form a strong partnership, combining defensive solidity with attacking support. Ezra battled for a fourth goal, while Neo worked tirelessly down the wing against a determined Lowdham defence. Lowdham found a rare gap to score, just out of William’s reach. Hugo continued to press late into the game, though a goal remained just out of reach.

Final Thoughts:

The match was a high-intensity contest, with Newark demonstrating strength, teamwork, and resilience throughout. Standout performances came from Ezra with his hat trick and relentless pressing, William’s brilliant goalkeeping, and Neo’s tireless wing play. Manager's Player of the Match:
