Devon proved a constant threat in midfield, breaking up play and driving the team forward. Eva battled tirelessly up front, unlucky not to find the net, but she provided a fantastic through ball for Devon to open the scoring.
Sophie, pushing up from defence, impressed with her determination and well-timed challenges, preventing Radcliffe from creating many chances.
The girls went into half-time in high spirits, with plenty of positives to build on.
Second Half
Maddy continued to display her strength and composure, holding up the ball well and keeping the attack alive. Sophia started brightly after the break, using her power and positioning to net a well-deserved goal, set up by captain Etta.
In the final ten minutes, Maddy switched her approach, driving the ball forward herself while also dropping back to support the defence. Faith worked tirelessly, showing great determination to win back possession and driving forward with purpose, though she was unlucky not to score despite several attempts.
Etta, who played the first half in goal, came outfield in the second and immediately made an impact with her pace and energy. She contributed crucial clearances at the back and pressed forward to support the attack.
The final goal came from Devon, who bagged her second of the match after excellent link-up play with Maddy.
