Newark Town Titans v Keyworth Black

2 goals a piece from Stanley and Oscar and a goal from Jaxon sealed a comfortable win with a much earned clean sheet.

So many positives to take and some well taken goals but all the hype was on the well worked team goal for Stanley’s 2nd. 1 and 2 touch football starting from Conner to Louis then to Jaxon who set up Stan for our goal of the season so far. Absolutely beautiful football from Newark.

Some good goalkeeping decisions from Oscar and Conner made sure we won the game with a clean sheet.

Newark Town Titans v Ruddington Black

Another goal from Stanley and a strike from in his own half by Ronnie sealed the win for Newark.

What was pleasing is that when we went 2-1 up we managed and controlled the game much better than before and fully deserved the win

Last week we said that we was losing matches through inexperience and basic errors that we haven’t manage to work on in training. Wednesday night we worked on Goalkeeping, defending corners and marking players. We transformed that into today’s game and conceded only 1 goal. I can’t praise the players enough for taking in that information and perfecting that into today’s games. Seeing both Charlie’s, and Louis scanning the midfield to mark their players was just as important as the goals we scored.
