Match Report

The team made a fantastic start. The first goal came from Jaxx’s corner, which caused a goal-line scramble before Caleb reacted quickly to tap the ball home.

At the back, Jenson and Adam put in some excellent defending, while Dylan pulled off a brilliant save to keep us ahead.

The next goal was a brilliant team move: Isaac played a great pass to Caleb, who laid it off to Jaxx. His shot was saved, but Caleb was alert to the rebound and finished neatly before half-time.

The second half started just as brightly, with the lads dominating play near the opposition’s goal. Henry had two great efforts that were just off target, and Leo came agonisingly close when his strike hit the post. The pressure had everyone on the edge of their seats.

The opposition managed to grab an equaliser with a fortunate strike, but spirits stayed high. Dylan continued to impress with more outstanding saves to keep us in the game.

A foul gave us a free kick in a dangerous position. Isaac stepped up, and with some clever play, the ball found its way to Caleb, who finished confidently for his hat-trick.

Moments later, Jaxx picked up the ball, went on a strong run, and fired in a cracking strike.

The second half was tense and full of drama, but the boys showed brilliant teamwork — creating chances, passing well, and taking their opportunities. They were rewarded with a well-deserved win.

Today showed what the team can achieve when they stick together, keep working hard, and never let their heads drop.

It was an all-round team performance: strong defending, determined tackling, smart passing, and excellent goalkeeping from Dylan.

Final notes:

• Isaac was awarded Man of the Match for, in Will’s words, “covering every blade of grass” and providing two crucial assists.

• Caleb scored a superb hat-trick.

• Jaxx capped things off with a brilliant goal of his own.

Well done, lads — a cracking game today! ❤
