Newark Town Titans U7 Match Report (Round Robin Matches)

Match 1

We started strongly with goals from Jaxon and Thomas, establishing an early advantage. However, we struggled to defend against the opposition’s set pieces in the second half and conceded goals as a result. While the outcome was disappointing, this reflects the team’s current stage of development and limited coaching time. This provides a valuable opportunity for Tom and myself to focus on these areas in training, and we are committed to helping the players improve. With continued practice and match experience, I am confident the team will manage these situations more effectively and convert strong performances into victories.

Match 2

Goals from Freddy (2) and Oscar once again put us in a strong position. Late goals, including a controversial last-minute penalty, ultimately changed the result. Despite this, the team performed well throughout, competing effectively against a more experienced side. This match highlighted key areas for development, particularly in goalkeeping, where the players are continuing to build their skills. The players’ effort and determination were excellent, and each game contributes to their ongoing growth.
